From the very beginning, the team at BKV Holidays & Visa Travel Agency was very professional and accommodating. They offered us several packages to choose from, and we eventually decided on a 7-day tour of Kerala, which covered all the major attractions in the state.
The tour started with our arrival at Cochin International Airport, where we were greeted by a representative from the travel agency. He helped us with our luggage and escorted us to our private car, which was waiting for us outside the airport. The car was well-maintained and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable ride.
Our first stop was at Fort Kochi, a historic town famous for its colonial architecture and picturesque waterfront. The travel agency had arranged for a guided tour of the town, and our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the place. We visited the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, and the St. Francis Church, which is the oldest European church in India.
Next, we headed to Munnar, a hill station located in the Western Ghats. The journey from Fort Kochi to Munnar was breathtaking, with lush green tea plantations and misty mountains surrounding us on all sides. Our hotel in Munnar was a cozy little cottage located amidst the tea gardens, and we were amazed by the view from our room.
The next two days in Munnar were spent exploring the town and its surroundings. We visited the Eravikulam National Park, which is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, and also took a stroll through the tea gardens, where we learned about the process of tea production.
Our next stop was at Thekkady, a town located in the Periyar National Park, known for its wildlife sanctuary and spice plantations. We took a boat ride on the Periyar Lake and spotted several animals, including elephants, deer, and wild boars. We also visited a spice plantation, where we saw various spices being grown and processed.
Our last stop was at Alleppey, where we experienced the famous backwaters of Kerala. We took a traditional houseboat cruise along the backwaters, which was the highlight of our trip. The houseboat had all the modern amenities, and we enjoyed a delicious Kerala-style lunch while cruising along the backwaters. We also got a chance to interact with the locals and learn about their way of life.
Our Kerala trip with BKV Holidays & Visa Travel Agency was a truly memorable experience. The team was very professional and took care of all our needs throughout the trip. We would highly recommend this travel agency to anyone planning a trip to Kerala.
